As per the 2011 Census, Lidroo has a total population of 1,898 people, living in about 362 households. The village is entirely rural in nature, with 100% of its population residing in rural areas and no urban population. Agriculture and horticulture are the main occupations, while its proximity to Pahalgam (about 3 km away). Does not help people access city facilities while living in their village homes.

Best Time to Visit:

The best time to visit Lidroo is from April to October, when the weather is pleasant and the surrounding mountains, forests, and apple orchards are lush and green. During December to February, Lidroo experiences snowfall, offering beautiful winter landscapes for visitors who enjoy snow and cold weather.

Popular dishes include Rogan Josh, Gushtaba, Yakhni, Dum Aloo, Haak Saag, Nadru Yakhni, Modur Pulao, and the traditional Kashmiri Wazwan.
