Pragwal has widespread internet and mobile network coverage, with 4G networks functioning efficiently. Only areas near the border experience network disruptions due to jammers. Overall, internet and mobile connectivity are excellent throughout the village.

Developments
Poultry farm: There is a poultry farm in the village. These farms are dedicated to raising birds for domestic and commercial purposes, primarily for meat and eggs. To ensure the health and productivity of these birds, specific management practices are implemented, including feeding, breeding, healthcare, and providing adequate shelter.
Breed multiplication farm: The village houses a breed multiplication farm, a government-funded project with a total cost of 4 crore rupees. The initiative aims to produce healthy, high-yielding heifers. To maintain optimal conditions, the livestock are housed in insulated sheds that reduce the temperature by 10-15 degrees Celsius.
Indi-patan pragwal bridge: The Chenab Bridge project, estimated to cost Rs 200 crore, will be the longest bridge over the Chenab River upon completion. Work began in 2018 on this 1,640-meter double-lane bridge. The bridge will significantly improve connectivity for Pragwal residents by reducing the travel distance to the Khour block headquarters (currently 40 km) to a mere 5-7 km. This vital infrastructure project, funded by central road funds, will also provide a strategic link for defence purposes, connecting military units across the Chenab. With 50% of the work already completed, the bridge is expected to be finished by December 2025, offering a much-needed connection for residents and bolstering regional security.
Services
Block Development Officer: There is an office of the Block Development Officer (BDO) for the village. The BDO is responsible for overseeing the construction of roads and bridges, as well as for approving or validating any projects within the block. All projects must first obtain permission from the BDO. Additionally, the BDO supervises the implementation of plans and programs approved by government authorities.
Food Store: There is also a government food store in the village and spoke with the store's supervisor, who provided us with some information about its operations. The store receives food supplies every month. The supervisor also mentioned that all the paperwork that was previously handled in the store has now been moved online. People visit the store with their receipts to collect the food items.
Police Station: The Pragwal Police Station, where the officer provided us with all the information in writing. The officer has been stationed at the Pragwal Police Post for the past 15-16 months. He mentioned that the crime rate in the village is much lower compared to the city area. Overall, the people in the village are peaceful and calm.
Tehsildar Office: There is a Tehsil office in the village. The Tehsil office is primarily responsible for land revenue administration, as well as election and executive functions. The Tehsildar is in charge of maintaining all land and revenue records for the Tehsil. Additionally, the Tehsildar is responsible for carrying out all duties per the rules set by the government.
