1.3 Village Overview
Panthal is a rural village located in Reasi tehsil of Reasi district in Jammu & Kashmir, India. The village is situated 34km away from Reasi, which serves as both the district and sub-district headquarters. According to Census 2011, Panthal has a location code of 005412 and spans a total geographical area of 187.9 hectares with pincode 182121. The village serves as a hub for several smaller surrounding villages and maintains significant historical and cultural importance in the region.
2. Demographic Profile

Panthal village has a total population of 1,415 residents comprising 743 males and 672 females, resulting in a sex ratio of 904 females per 1,000 males. The village is organized into 273 households with an average household size of approximately 5.2 members.
