Introduction to Nadore Village
Nadore Village is a part of the Nagrota area in Jammu. This Village is situated in the Nagrota tehsil (administrative division) of Jammu district. Nagrota is located on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), about 15 kilometers from Jammu city. The region has seen various rulers and kingdoms due to its strategic location between the plains of Jammu and the Himalayan ranges. Nagrota and its surroundings have been witness to significant events during the partition of India in 1947 and the subsequent Indo-Pak conflicts. The area holds military significance due to its proximity to the border with Pakistan.
